Chinese "Chan" art is similar to Japanese "Zen" meditational art. It acts to inspire the viewer expanding the imagination beyond the soft painted understatement of the artist. Regarding Detail - Scanned or digital images are not able to capture the detail of these works. I hope to refine the images so that the integity of detail is preserved.
