The meaning in this picture - there is a long path between the building on the left and a small table and two chairs on the right. At the table are two glasses. In Chinese it says: " To share a glass of wine with an old friend, a thousand are to few". A warm sentiment on friendship and prompted a drawing depicting the event. It is even more enhanced with the great distance needed to acquire each new glass of wine. |
